vaccinations at 6 weeks

Hi all. Is it normal to have baby vaccinations at the 6 week check? Baby will be just gone 6 weeks and I am. hoping it is not too soon. Calpol is for 8 weeks plus so does that make 6 weeks too early?

There aren't any at 6 weeks. First lot of jabs is 8 weeks

That's what I thought but the GP has sent an immunisation appointment for exactly 6 weeks. The 6 week check is first and. then the nurse will do immunisations. I'll call them and ask for more details if they answer the phone!

They should be at 8 weeks. So doing them at 6 as you say re paracetamol is not on. My pgd allows me to do them at 8 weeks occasionally vaccines can be given earlier but I’d need a specific prescription to do so.

I've got 4 children, youngest being 5 months and I've never known them to have jabs at 6 weeks, only 8 weeks onwards. At 6 weeks only the check for you and baby. The NHS says 8 weeks too so would definitely query that.
