I’ve arranged for a couple of people from work to see me and baby this week before schools return next week (school staff). However, we are having such a tough time with sleep at night, I genuinely don’t think I’ll be up to it. I’m literally only catching up on bits of sleep during the day, not getting to bed until 8am etc.

Would it be bad to cancel? I feel terrible about it but I’m absolutely exhausted and baby is too 😞

No it absolutely wouldn't be bad to cancel. You and the baby come first. People will be understanding of that and those who aren't don't deserve a second chance at a visit to be honest. What age is baby?

Absolutely cancel. They will understand. You need to focus on yourself and your baby. And you'll have a much better time with them once things have settled and you've had a bit more rest. Hope it evens out soon x
