Can anyone help? 8.5 month vomiting on milk and refusing all solids

Hoping someone has any advice for me! My DD has been going off her food over the last week or so and more recently off her milk as well. The last two days she has been extremely irritable, barely slept and has got extremely distressed being put in her high chair, turned her head away at all foods and after drinking 5oz formula after her bath tonight has projectile vomited everywhere and did the same yesterday after a bottle.

Still has lots of wet and dirty nappies, no temperature, no issues with breathing that I can see, no rash. She is very pale though with red rings around her eyes. She’s always had trouble with reflux since birth but it calmed down a lot as she got older. She’s never been hugely interested in food either and it’s been terrible over Christmas but I’ve put it down to being away visiting various family members and her routine being completely off. I’m going to call the GP first thing tomorrow but I’m not sure what they will say as she isn’t presenting any usual “ill” symptoms.

Has anyone had anything similar? Should I keep trying with food or take a break for a couple of days? Feeling extremely anxious as I can’t seem to diagnose the problem.

Teething, by any chance?

Based on your description I wouldn't be terribly worried. Maybe ease up on food and milk for a couple of days, as she's clearly not feeling well. Continue to offer, but no pressure and no drama if it's refused. If you're concerned about fluids then also offer little sips of water throughout the day. Have you given her Calpol at all?
