Someone I don’t know very well was pretty drunk in the pub the other night. She’s a local mum of a 14 year old boy. We were briefly chatting and her phone pinged, she said her son’s best friend has a massive crush on her and keeps messaging her. She said his mum and her son don’t know. She helps out at youth club that both the boys go to and although I don’t think she’s up to anything sinister or untoward I was uncomfortable with how she was talking about it and the fact that she hasn’t told the boy’s mum. Am I overthinking it? Advice please xx
