Appropriate clothing for an 8 year old girl

Thoughts & experience please! Is it "all the fashion" for 8 year old girls to wear leather trousers (presume fake. Think tight & black) and cropped off the shoulder tops? With said 8 year pulling the top down to expose more skin because its "the style". This to attend an adults New Year party.

The fake leather trousers would not bother me in the slightest, no different to leggins.
Not so sure about the top though. I think as long as it doesn’t show ‘cleavage’ I would be tempted to let it slide. I know she’s young now but you don’t want to end up with a teen who gets changed in the bushes as soon as she leaves the house.

Mine just wants to live in leggings and joggers for the comfort

Yes younger girls will try to copy the teens.

Wearing it to the park would be different

8-year-old girls should dress their age! Leather trousers and cropped tops are too mature for them. Opt for comfortable, age-appropriate clothing that promotes innocence and childhood joy.
