See a dietitian about DS9?

DS9 is tall and slim (142 and 30kg). He is active and plays sport. He has a fast metabolism and gets very irritable before meals.
He’s got a low appetite at the moment but could just be tired from Xmas and the school holidays.
He eats a good breakfast so I can pack the calories in there.
He’s currently only eating half his lunch and dinner and says he’s full.
He does have a healthy snack in between meals.

I feel like I’m overthinking it because he’s so slim but my Dad was tall and very slim so I think it’s the genes.
It’s all about texture. He wolfs down wet food (pasta in lots of sauce, spaghetti hoops/baked beans/casseroles/soups etc). Chips have to have gravy. He’ll eat mash/roasties/chips but never finishes them and prefers pizza and pasta (his absolute favourite).

The only fruit he’ll eat is watermelon, raisins and sometimes tinned peaches.

The only veg is broccoli, cauli, baby sweetcorn and carrots but that’s a good amount.

He refuses fruit with skin on or veg with skin on like apples, peas, sweetcorn, peppers, green beans etc. Doesn’t like bananas.

His brother eats pretty much anything apart from baked beans.

I get stuck for meal ideas. He has a daily multivitamin.

Wet food makes him sound like a cat. I mean saucy food.
