Baby fell from my arm to mattress

My baby is 2 months old and I am the primary care for her , dad works nights so I do all night watches on my own and I do have two other kids at home with me (age 7 and 9) . So last night I’m feeding baby and I don’t know how long I dozed off on but baby seems ok . She feel from my arms on to the mattress was wondering if anyone else had experience this type of fall and if their baby is ok . She didn’t cry or make any fuzz which I feel like would be a sign of pain or hurt . I feel terrible and it plays in my mind , the mom guilt is taking over .

Try not to worry or beat yourself up too much over this, things like this happen to all mums at some stage. My son has fallen out of the bed and onto the floor a couple of times before. I felt horrific but accidents happen. My biggest concern with a baby at that age would be that they had fallen face down restricting breathing. Your baby hasn’t fallen onto a hard surface so if she seems otherwise ok then I’m sure she is. Call 111 for reassurance if you’re worried though :)

Agree with PP. I'd also suggest looking up safe co sleeping. It's much more dangerous to fall asleep with baby when you're not set up for safe co sleeping.
