Hi all. My family and I are relocating from London to Cheshire next year. As we won’t have moved before state school applications for my 4 year old in January, we might go down the private school route. We are hoping to live in either Wilmslow or Knutsford. Does anyone have an opinion of Pownall Hall in Wilmslow or the Grange in Northwich as options? Many thanks

It probably depends where you decide to live. If you are in Wilmslow or even Knutsford, the Grange will be a bit of a trek. If you like the Hartford area though, the Grange school is a great option. Hartford also has a couple of very good state primary schools that might have places available. I don't think they are oversubscribed at the moment, worth asking though.

Have you considered Trafford (Hale or Altrincham) with a view to senior school (Grammar system)? Some good independent prep schools, and multiple outstanding state primary schools you might still get a place at.

Hi, currently looking at Primary schools in the Hartford area Northwich and wondered if anyone has current/recent experience of Hartford Primary, Hartford Manor, Winnington Park and Charles Darwin?
Thank youuu! :-)
