Spray or drops for baby cold?

My 10 week old baby has a cold and a blocked nose. Do you recommend saline drops or the spray? Obviously want the easier one to apply.

Spray works a lot better in my opinion

Saline spray is really effective. Google a nasal sucker too (I can't think of the brand). I had a December newborn last year and he was snotty for ages. I was regularly cleaning out his nose with my sucker at 3am Xmas Grin. The calpol plug in is good too. It emits a vic like vapour. I think that's from 3 months so it depends how you feel about using that now.

Thanks for the replies. @liquoricecravings I will get a calpol plug in as well. Does say 3 months but maybe if i plug it in for an hour or so rather than the whole night?

Personally I think it would be fine. Albus oil at bathtime would also help. I put it in the sink with hot water to make it steam. There's a vic type thing called snuffle baby (snuffle is in the brand at least) which is good too. You can see how long I spent last winter trying to clear both dc noses!

Thank you @liquoricecravings! I do have 2 older children but it's been so long since the last baby stage 🤣. I'll do everything you've recommended. Bought the calpol plug in as well.

Oh yes definitely get a sucker as well! It’s incredible how much snot can come out of a small human
