refund from parent pay

Had no clue where else to put this!

I'm trying to withdraw my balance from parentpay, but it wants to transfer to a debit card that's expired. I have my bank account and new bank card attached, but it's insistent on this old card.

Has this happened to anyone else? I withdrew £1 earlier to see if it come up with an error message but it just sailed through.

Help!

I just left my refund in the account and used it to pay for a trip the next term. Is that an option?

Is the expired card attached to your current bank account? Will it let you transfer the money to expired card then you can spend using your new bank card…. Wouldn’t it be the same account.

Pay in a quid with new card. Then refund the lot onto that card. Bet it let's you add to a new card!

I also had a refund issue recently. Use the online chat - I got a prompt and helpful response from a real person, much to my surprise!

I had issues getting a refund for a school trip in November that had been paid for in February on a card that had since expired - parent pay e mailed me asking for evidence of account but didn't create the link to upload this until I got the school to intervene. Realise this isn't helpful while schools are closed but the finance people might be in before term starts so worth getting them to support. I did get the refund eventually but it took far too long.

Hi everyone, despite using an expired card it's refunded back into my back account. Thanks so much everyone & Happy New Year.
