Exh picked up dc this morning at 9am wearing, dressing gown, bare chest, pj bottoms and slippers? I know its boxing day but really? Why would you turn up at your ex wifes house looking like that, my dc was dressed smartly in xmas shirt and chinos and the first thing dc said was why are you dressed like that? He got in the car and drove off.

Maybe its me, maybe thats normal. Im quite an active up and at them kind of person so to me picking your child up looking like that is a big no, i wouldn't turn up to his in my pjs with no top on in slippers and gown.

We are n/c appart from arranging things for dc which rarely happens he just sticks to his shit 6hrs once a week because thats all he can be arsed to do ( new family more important)

Dont know why im posting im just finding him very bizzaa of late with one thing or another.

I think your child nailed it with their question to him.

What a slob! At least your child recognised that it’s not really appropriate.

I'm sorry but I don't think it's clear, did he get in the car with your kids or did he drive off without them in a huff?

whatamess100 · 26/12/2023 12:57

He turned up in his car wearing dressing gown, bare chest out,pj bottoms and slippers. He collected dc no huff or fall out as we dont talk . I was posting because i think its inappropriate turning up in pjs to your ex wives house looking like that.

Is he trying to show how cool/sexy he is?! Sounds like something my exH would do, completely oblivious to the fact that I find him slightly repulsive.

Maybe he just doesn't care what you think of him?
It's the beauty of divorce, no longer having to have any kind of approval.
Maybe he has had a full on exhausting time of it, just wanted to pick the child up and get back home?
Yes it's random, yes it's lazy, and yes.... you're giving this far more thought than he is.
Leave him and his dressing gown to it.
