Anyone else’s child got a sickness bug at the moment ? I’m so gutted , my child was sick 8 times yesterday with a temperature and doesn’t seem any better today. I know people have it worse , but feeling so disappointed that it’s happened at Christmas!

That's such rotten luck @Hp23334556.

Me and the DC all had it one year and poor DH was working. Not the best Christmas Day, especially as we had to cancel guests but Das was happy on his new Switch and me and DD watched Christmas films together.

It might not be the Christmas you had planned but there will probably still be some lovely moments Flowers

Yep. Whole household down with covid here. We've had it a few times but this time it's floored us and totally ruined Christmas. You're not alone!

Feel so sorry for you too @AmyAW Flowers

Covid has always caused diarrhoea, and the current JN.1 variant commonly produces both that and vomiting.

Cases are rising fast (last figures showed doubling, which is always a bad sign)

There isn’t much you can do other that wait it out, and make sure the afflicted gets lots of rest and keeps their fluids up. And do your level best not to pass it on to anyone else (whether Covid, noro or another tummy bug)

Rotten luck on the timing - sometimes DC bounce back really quickly so I have fingers firmly crossed for you
