Birthmark/mole?

Severe health anxiety so please don't judge 😩

my daughter has had this mole for months, looking through pictures, I think she could have had it since birth but has grown with her if that makes sense.

I've not worried about it until tonight, now I've googled and it's saying it could be melanoma, because apparently babies don't get moles or freckles😩 has anyone else's baby had anything like this(she's 11 months)

My four year old has something on his finger, very similar, which started as a blood blister. Took him to the dermatologist last moment and she thought I was being a bit ridiculous. Apparently they get new moles all the time at that age and also it could be a pigment reaction to an injury. I'll post a pic.

My baby is ten months and has a mole near her shoulder. Where did you read babies don’t get moles? I’m sure it’s totally fine btw.

Could be a hemangioma

My eldest had a good 5 or so moles before 1, so they definitely can. My youngest didn't get them and had such a tantrum at 2 that I wouldn't give him any of mine! If you are ever concerned, you can speak to a health visitor at the 1 year check.

Could be a hemangioma

My son had a hemangioma but it was bright red, not brown like that.

I have a brown mole on my leg which I have had since I was born and my brother has a huge one, also on his leg, which he has always had.
