Breastfed baby weight gain

My daughter was born last week. She is exclusively breastfed. She had lost 10% of her birth weight at her first weight check. Two days later, she had gained 100g. I was so happy. Today, two more days on, she's only gained 20g.

I feel like I've failed her. She feeds and poos regularly and seems fine within herself. But I haven't stopped crying since she was weighed as I feel it's all my fault.

Not too sure why I'm posting, maybe for a little reassurance? 😕

Aww just keep up the good work..iv breastfed 4 baby's and all mine have had slow gains as long as they are filling nappies and having a full feed there's not much more you can do... well done x

Fantastic job for her to regain her birth weight so quickly. Mine took almost a month to do that. No health issues - he just had and still has a ridiculously large appetite.

Weight gain is not linear. Just keep feeding as often and for as long as your baby wants. Mine was glued to me for 3 months 🫣 I could barely leave him for an hour.

Congratulations and well done - BF is Hard Work, and not enough recognition is given to it.
