Yet another Bumgenius question from me ..........!!!

Have posted a few under my other name, I will get the hang of them eventually and leave you all alone!!

OK, here goes!! For some reason they have started leaking around the edges, I'm presuming its because they have too much soap residue from the soap powder I use in them (1 fairy tablet), so I'm washing them and rinsing, rinsing and rinsing!! Could it be anything else!

AND ..... when DD (7 months) does a poo, it all comes up the back nearly coming over the top of the elastic, am I doing something wrong or does this happen to others?? We have been lucky so far but I'm expecting a poo emergency imminently!! I have them on the second poppers as she only weighs 16lb, do I need to unpopper them completely?

I really want to use liners as scraping the poo of them is driving me mad! Does anyone else use liners? If yes, which ones and how do you put them in?

Thanks

Ok... I had them unpoppered fairly early on (it was the V1s though so they could be different) - try it and see.

Soap residue shouldn't cause leaking... I would say leaking would mean you either need an extra booster or changing more regularly.

Liners - yes, I have. Only disposable ones though (fleece on their inner seems to be too much repellent and it just goes nuts) - make sure the liner is positioned so it is completely inside the elastic etc.

I would put them through a rinse without any powder - I find soap does build up in my fuzzis. Personally I haven;t tried Bumgenius - am tempted to try one - but hear they aren't very reliable and may be wasting my money

I like the new onelife liners - less papery and more soft.

I would try them unpoppered as per flamey... I was on full opened setting fairly early on also. They are my most reliable but boring pocket. I always use half my usual detergen so about 20 on my scoop thing and always do a cold rinse before hand.

I also find a liner makes a channel for runny poo to run out of so not a big fan - sorry!
