You know when you’re in hospital and they tell you this is how many wet and dirty nappies to expect blah blah

well when does that 6-8 a day of wet nappies become less?

whats normal for a 1 year old?

FTM here, might be asking a stupid question. But also just wanna know the answer lol

Sounds daft but how often would you pee over a day?

Easily 6-8 with their small bladders, and as they get older they pass more urine so the nappies need to be changed more

Sprogonthetyne · 21/12/2023 19:20

During the day I changed every 3-4 hours for wee and immediately after poo, which were about once a day. They were going about 10-12 hours in one nappy overnight though, it was full by morning but fine and not worth waking them up for a change.

It’s normal to change them every 2 hours during the day so still 6 to 8 times. Plus extra if they poo lots.
Basically how would you like to be left sitting on your own waste?
