unless you’re willing to remove the child if they’re disturbing people and potentially miss the whole show, then don’t go.

I think it depends on the child but my 4 and a half year old wouldn't really manage this. What sort of concert is it? Is it something designed for children and they wouldn't be expected to stay quiet? Or something interactive?

You don’t think it’s weird to come on and plead with someone not to go to a concert a week later? I do.

Anyway, he was fine. It was a kids concert and I was privately impressed but then realised it was horribly boastful so didn’t come back to the thread.

My 3 year old (turned 3 in September) sat through a 2.5 hour brass band concert at the start of December. Was mostly Christmas music though and she loved the band so wasn't too much of a challenge.

She's a nightmare in lots of other ways though 🤣

I'm 52 and couldn't sit still for that long.

@Bramblebrooks - there was nothing on your posts before I made my comment that you had already been to the concert and it only came up on my feed today.

Glad that it worked out ok - but you didn't say either that it was designed for children when you posted either. Just trying to stir it I guess 🙄
