Cluster feeding worried about over feeding

DD is 4 weeks and appears to be cluster feeding. She seems constantly hungry (FF). Tonight she had 5oz, then an hour and a half later another 4oz, then an hour later she’s had another 4oz! I’m really worried about over feeding. We’ve always fed on demand and just give what she will have but how do I feed on demand / cluster feed without overfeeding and what’s a normal amount?

I'm an finding the same DD was 4 weeks yesterday. She is combi fed and the last few days she's breast feeding for 20 mins plus almost 4oz of formula at some feeds. DD1 never took so much.

I think she's having a growth spurt as shes gained 14ozs in 6 days according to my scales (which were same as HV on last weigh in). This is new territory for me as DD1 was slower to gain weight and less hungry x

I think they only take what they need at this age.
