Solids & breastfeeding. Help me

I have a 1 year old
always been exclusively breastfed. Will not take a bottle or cup with milk- not expressed, formula nor whole milk now either.
doesn’t do bottles or dummy’s but will drink water from a straw cup or standard cup/mug.

solids are also an issue. Only eats 2 spoons or bites of anything atm.

im at my wits end. My husband is annoyed too and feels like he blames me for BF’ing and this stops him from eating/having milk any other way.
I don’t think the BF’ing is the big issue. I just need solids to increase 😞😞😞😞

What are they like when you're out with other children and do you do BLW?

I would just gently start reducing the availability of BF at mealtimes and increasing the availability of solid food.

I don't think the milk is an issue, if they drink water and have BF that is fine. The priority is solid food IMO.

@SutWytTi When we’re out he will do brilliantly with food sometimes, sometimes not so much but definitely better when we’re out..

yes BLW but also mix in some spoon feeding which at times works. Never force it though

Do more of what works and less of what doesn't.

You will have to go out more for a bit I think! Ask friends round so they can eat with you, eat on the go, go to the park over meal times etc etc.

I was told 'food before one is just for fun' so I don't think it sounds that terrible, just keep manipulating the situation.

I used to get an ice cube tray with different things in, like a grazing plate. If they have a small capacity go for six small meals rather than three.
