Baby not sleeping the same after mastitis

Hi

i started with mastitis just over a week ago. I finished my antibiotics yesterday and feel like I’m healed. Only thing is my baby is now waking every 2 hours through night to feed. He usually slept around 6/9 hours the first bit of the night followed by 2 hours. I’m worried this is his new norm now. Has anyone else has this with mastitis/antibiotics while breast feeding? And if so did your baby get back into the old routine? My baby is 12 weeks old btw.

The mastitis could well be a coincidence, and your baby is just going through a growth spurt or something and needing the frequent feeds for that reason. Sleeping 6/9h in a trot before 4mo is unusual I'd say!
