Dislike the person I am since becoming a mum

Can anyone relate? I have a 3 year old and a 10 month old. I'm just constantly yelling, moaning, telling my toddler off, I'm always stressed and moody. Never get time to myself. I never used to be like this and I hate that I am but things will never go back to the way they was until kids have grown up and moved out! That's how it feels anyway

They will never go back to the way they were, sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Things do get better as they get older.

Letting go of the you before and embracing the new you will help you figure out time for yourself that works alongside parenting. None of us can go back, begrudging that will only make you unhappy. Let it go. Find a new way to be happy.

That's just how it is with a small age gap. It does get better especially once the eldest is in nursery. And in the long run it's easier because the 2 dcs will play together and be able to do the same activities unlike with a larger gap.

How useful is the kids father, do you share the workload?

Things will be a lot easier once eldest is in school.
