Hi, so my 10 week old (on Wednesday) has been having 6oz every 3 hours he got weighed yesterday and is 14lb šŸ™ˆ I’m just reaching out really to see what everyone else LO is on? I know they are all different. He also only wakes once in the night so has 6 feeds a day. X

2.5oz per 1lb in 24 hours, so 35 oz per day - about bang on.

DD is 17 weeks, 15lb and is on 32oz over 5 feeds which is just under the recommended amount on the tin. She seems to be OK as she's gaining weight and if we try do 35oz she refluxes more 🫣

My DTs are 5, but at 10 weeks they were drinking/eating 6oz a feed 7x a day. This isn’t from memory - I was so damn tired I kept a record of every feed for the both of them to make sure I’d fed them both and not the same kid twice 🫣

Rough guide is 2.5oz per lb of body weight or 150ml per kilo

I'm Old school so deal with lbs

Im a maternity nurse and current baby is 8w old and has 5/6oz every 3hrs daytime and then feeds 10/11 and wakes up usually 3/4/5 for next feed overnight

@Blondeshavemorefun so my son should be having 35oz if I go off that guide, he’s currently having 36oz but I feel he could go up to 7oz a feed now I think that’s loads for his age? He has his last feed between 9/10 then goes until 3/4.
