Migraines and breast feeding help

I’ve been prescribed propranalol as my migraines have rapidly increased since giving birth, but I’m feeling a bit worried and guilty about starting it incase of any side effects for baby. From what I know, only v small amounts reach baby but of course there’s never 100% certainty as not enough studies done etc. Has anyone here ever taken this whilst breast feeding and baby was okay ?

I really don’t want to think about introducing formula if I don’t have to :(

The breastfeeding drug network has it listed as being ok to take whilst bf. They really are the experts when it comes to bf and drugs and my go to on anything like this 🙂

I didn't take propanolol but I took 8 different drugs when I was pregnant and breastfeeding and only 1 was a no-no for breastfeeding and pregnancy. Most are completely fine and I had to have already stopped breastfeeding and my daughter settled on formula before they would prescribe it. I was in hospital by this point.
I agree with the breastfeeding organisation the PP mentioned
