GCSE exam stress

My DD is really struggling with exams, she's very bright and does well in lessons and assessments but the minute she goes into an exam she seems to struggle to remember content and focus. She described it to me as like lighting a sparkler on bonfire night and her mind goes all over the place! We've got her tutors to help with confidence and exam technique but wondering if there is anything else I can do to support her through this tough time?

Is it anxiety? What’s driving this? Maybe a few sessions with a psychologist would help? Maybe she could learn some techniques etc.
does she have specific goals for uni etc? Is that what’s driving the worry?

I’m starting to think maybe anxiety

Would sitting exams in a small room rather than the hall with everyone else help?

I would speak to school about sitting exams away from the exam hall, you'll have to be quick though as it may already be too late for them to organise this
