How to get through a cold!?

LO is 1. Both hit with a rotten cold. Stuffy but also snotty nose, occasional cough, but MAJOR dribbling.

tried a saline spray- hates it so much. Even the snot sucker (also hates). Have some Vicks I’ve tried too.
Sit in steamy bathroom.. yep.

It just doesn’t seem to be getting any better 😓
poor kids breathing at night is just snot filled!

any help/advice appreciated

Vicks plug in at night combined with snuffle balm EVERYWHERE. Randomly on the soles of the feet help.

A humidifier with Olbas oil for children in or lavender oil with a drop of eucalyptus.

The plug ins have some horrible chemicals in if that's the sort of thing you worry about.

There's not much else you can do, it's crap!
