He wont wee in his pull ups. Is dry during the day and most of the night. Goes to the loo before bed and also minimal drinks after 6pm.

He wakes to go to the toiloet, but wont go on his own and wakes me and with the lighter nights wants to get up - HELP

Given that my own daughter is nearly 7 and only just dry at night, I think he's doing really well and needs encouraging.

You may not want to hear this, but I think you need to go with it and take him to the toilet - he is aware that he needs a wee and is waking up, and that is brilliant. I think that lifting may screw that up because it can train children to wee in their sleep and not take notice of their own bodies.

It won't last forever; eventually he will get up and go on his own. And it may not be long before he is going all night without getting up for a wee.
