Did you give vitamins to your EBF baby? Mine has had vitamin D drops since birth and is now 6 months so was recommend vitamins A, C & D by HV. Do they need iron too? Was told to use wellbaby brand but these contain sugar which I thought babies under 1 couldn’t have?

They need vitamin a, c and D. You can get healthy starts vitamins which are made by/for the NHS.
We got a multivitamin with just these from Amazon which is 0.5ml dose which is manageable some of the more comprehensive multivitamins are 5ml which was hard work when we accidentally bought the wrong ones. I can't remember what they are called but they have a purple label.

We give my daughter a multivitamin with a range of other stuff in but this is only because she is on a limited diet, doesn't eat and has issues with diarrhoea. Most babies just need the 3 vitamins in the healthy starts multivitamins.

I give the Wellbaby ones to my ebf now 9 month old baby, similar to what Pp said they are 0.5ml twice a day rather than 5ml so a lot easier to get him to take. I went for the drops rather than liquid. They do also contain iron which I was told by the Hv is quite important for breast fed babies, particularly if they’re not that into solids yet (which my baby isn’t)
