Help 9 month old ate some paper!
Baby helping me in the kitchen and I stupidly gave her the bread wrapped in white printed paper to hold, looked away and she had a piece in her mouth, despite my best attempts to get it out she swallowed it. The paper is kinda shiny consistently, I feel terrible as I'm so careful with what we feed her and noe she's ingested bleached paper with writing in it so possible dye too.
Anyone also done this and feel like a terrible mother?

It might be the first bit of paper they have eaten but I can almost guarantee it won't be the last.

Is paper a nutritious food? No but a little piece won't be harmful. A boy in my school used to sit and eat paper through out the day with no obvious issues.

It's around 9 months that most mum's learn anything and everything can and will be eaten. About this age my daughter tried to eat moss from the patio!
