My 8yo is so defiant at the moment, we are having some really difficult behaviour from her. Her attitude is unreal, the disrespect and the language she uses is also completely unacceptable, but Im struggling to discipline or implement consequences because she refuses to do them.
I worry that not setting strong boundaries will affect her as she moves into her teens.
Also, anyone that’s had an eight-year-old go through this phase. Does it get better or does it get worse? I’m hoping I might get a calmer teenager. Fingers crossed!!!
