Hospital welfare report

Anyone know what a welfare report from the hospital will consist of. Was due to an incident at school so not home related. Do the school have to act on it?

I would imagine this is a routine safeguarding practice and nothing to worry about but I don't know for sure. Years ago we got a welfare call from the health visitor just checking in with us after a hospital admission.
