Help me stop my twins suck their thumbs!

Hi,

My twins are approaching 4yrs, and are still sucking thumbs whenever tired and relaxed etc.
I've bought a nail varnish thing to put on, but the taste doesn't seem to bother them!
Their baby teeth are definitely tilted backwards, and their chins are really sore with dribble.
Can anyone recommend a better varnish please?
Here's a photo of the one I've got...

Sounds so difficult. Have they seen a Dentist and did they give any tips?

A fabric Elastoplast strip wrapped around their thumbs may help (although at 4 there's a risk that they could work out how to remove it). For younger toddlers, this usually works well.

Thank you both, plaster is not a bad idea at all! Thank you.

Yes, we're lucky enough to have an NHS dentist, so they go regularly. Dentist just said to stop, no tips.

Perhaps I'll get them some fidget toys or something to replace the habit
