I wasn't sure exactly where to put this, but I was wondering if anyone has any experience with how bonuses and work objectives are set during shared parental leave? I am due to take 3 months' SPL in the last quarter of the financial year of my company. I'm currently in the annual objectives setting process, from which bonuses are calculated, and I'm a bit confused about what to expect. Would I receive a full year's bonus? Should I request objectives based on 9 months or 12 months at work? The initial discussions seem to involve my management expecting 12 months worth of achievement in 9 months, which doesn't seem right to me.
I'd be grateful to hear any experiences - although I imagine most posters here would have experience of maternity leave entitlements which are probably different, I'm a bit lost here as I can't find much online that applies to my situation. The SPL will be unpaid if that makes any difference
