3 year old spitting food out

Seems to be the latest habit here.

The first few times I thought he’d just choked a bit so just encouraged spitting into a napkin but I think it’s intentional now. His appetite seems very poor at the moment although that changes weekly and he does have a bit of a cough but ugh … anyone else had this?

Is it particular food? Or all of it?

Good question - porridge has been a major one being spat out so may have to stop porridge for now but also sandwiches, apple, pasta. Yuck. A half chewed up apple being spat on my jeans is not what I thought parenting would be!
