Hi - my 6 month old has started sleeping on her front which I am fine with as she has great head control and can move her head if she needs to. However the past 2 weeks she is constantly pushing up onto her chest every few hours and as soon as we settle her and put her back down, she will push up onto her chest again and wake up. I am at my wits end! Can someone please tell me this is just a phase?

Definitely just a phase. Mine did this for a bit too

Thanks! Can you remember how long it lasted for my peace of mind?! 😂

Haha mine did this too, and currently she's waking herself up by going onto her knees then sitting up. She's still in a next to me so it sometimes scares the shit out of me to wake up to her sitting up lol

Lasted about 2 weeks I think so hopefully not to long left for you!!

I'm here because my baby (7 months) started doing the same thing! Hopefully she will grow out of it soon 😭 It's impossible to put her down in the cot at the moment, I have to keep bringing her into our bed but I don't want her to get in the habit of only co-sleeping 🤦🏻‍♀️ It's so frustrating, she had finally been starting to sleep better but now we're back to long nights with little sleep 😢

Don’t want to jinx it but I think she has stopped already, so was just a phase! In the end we just left her to it and she soon got bored and went to sleep. Worked in our favour tbh as it’s meant she has learnt to self settle 😂
