Baby with fever - what room temp to keep at night?

WWYD for room temp and bedding/bedtime clothing for a baby with a fever? 7m old.

My baby has a fever, I have given calpol and also steroids that was prescribed by GP. What temp should I keep the baby's room overnight? Cooler than usual, I'm thinking, so baby doesn't overheat? I've used a lighter sleeping bag than usual but I don't want baby to wake cold either. Currently thermostat is 18.5 degrees.

WWYD?

When my little on had a fever I found 18.5 adequate and I actually had her in just a nappy but a 0.5 tog - it's like tracing paper thin basically but was more for her comfort. Better to be cooler and wake up

Wake up for a cuddle *

Or even a vest a 0.5 if you felt was a little to cool and the fever was manageable, just the temps can spike so quickly

I don't think I've got a 0.5tog, baby is in 1 tog atm. Would long sleeved vest and 1tog be too much I wonder? My DH isn't here to sound off!

Hiya. 18.5 is quite cool enough and when my baby has had a temp I've put them in a layer less than I would normally so a babygrow and a 1 tog instead of normally a vest, babygrow and 2.5 tog in 18 degrees

But you can always remove the sleeping bag if they get too hot.

Thank you that's actually what I've done and I've just checked on them, currently feel ok temp wise.

Thank you for the reassurance
