Oh, help, football kit request

Sorry for the boring request but I don't know where to start. My 8 year old DS has asked for a football kit for Xmas and he wants it to be like 'Lionel Messi's'. But I don't know the first thing about buying football kits. What sort of thing would more football savvy mums be buying? It just seems like there's a whole load of Temu-style clothes out there. No football following relatives to ask. Help! Thanks very much in advance. Don't want to get it wrong for him

Messi currently plays for Inter Milan so he will want an inter Milan kit personalised with Messi on the back, at least that's what my son wanted!

We have to spend hundreds on kits.
Recently we've just gotten the Ebay knock offs
They're honestly unbelievable. Brilliant stitching and the wash and wear so well. We have authentic kits and knock offs and honestly I don't see a difference.

23/24 kit is out, depending on age you might get away with last years as they're v similar, last years is cheaper of course.

There's even cheaper fake ones if cost is an issue but be warned the lettering will come off in the wash eventually!

DH Gate have lots of good replicas. Facebook sometimes as well on the marketplace! If not just JD with Messi 10 on the back, the kids kits are a bit less than the adults. My DN supports 2 so that’s 6 lots of tops, it’s ridiculous now he is in adults🤣 Etsy have lots of lovely little football related things too.

I bought a mess I Milan kit including socks for £10.99 from Amazon it looks great quality. My wee boy is only 6 and I know nothing about football , but I was impressed
