My Dd broke and dislocated her toe/toes metatarsal. At the moment she is all strapped up but we are going to be collecting a boot when we go to the fracture clinic. She will have to return to school next week. I just wondered for those that have had children with similar injuries what do they suggest for inside the boot? I have seen some fleece liners. Also any waterproof options 🙈 Just want to get it ordered or bought while my DH is home so I'm organised.
The hospital haven't really given any information other than she can weight bare at the moment. Her school is huge and she won't be able to safely go to classes on her crutches (lots of stairs/wet outside, pushy children.) I believe they have a designated area for children that can't go to normal classes. We shall see!
