Painful red mark below nipple but no lump?

I've suddenly started to feel a pain below my left nipple and it's also red, however I can't feel a lump. It all started when I mistakenly used the wrong suction level on my pump. I don't have a fever or feel unwell so I'm wondering if this is mastitis or just trauma from using the wrong pump level. Anyone experienced something similar?

Mastitis can cause this type of symptom but you would still need to see your GP for them to check it out and get antibiotics.
