Does anyone have this dynamic?
we have a 4m baby so still very early days, and my DH is definitely doing his share, but it is more practical stuff like nappy changes, settling baby, household chores etc (I do this too)
In the evenings/weekends (I’m on mat leave so I do baby care during day) - in the wake windows I usually do more of the entertaining - eg reading to baby, playing songs, silly voices, dancing around etc whereas DH is more practical if that makes sense.
does anyone else have this dynamic and how do you find it and have you found it to evolve?
we’re still considering if we want to have a second child and I’m wondering if a benefit of this would be having a silly fun partner in crime if we as a couple are not great at that (of course we will likely have cousins and friends too)
