Make an another appointment.

Have you tried calpol or nurofen for the pain?

Poor thing. Sounds like he needs another course of antibiotics

Hope you get some more and they kick in, earache is awful? My 4YO had it in the summer and was miserable

Ask for the antibiotic ear spray, it's brilliant and really helps my dd when she has a ear infection.

Got an appointment booked for him for today, the gp left on the system anyway that he needs a follow up after a week so hopefully they can him something else to ease the pain.

Are you propping him up as much as possible? Ear infection pain is much, much worse when lying down than when sitting up, so he will be in a lot more pain if he is lying flat.

Too short a course of AB's and probably amoxycillin. Ask for Augmentin - that should knock it out. Also the cold starting may have rekindled it. Poor lad.

They gave him more antibiotics to have! Hopefully he will feel better away this
