Hi all, I have a teething 15 month old and I’m home alone with her for the next 4 days whilst her dad works away. She is up a lot in the night due to her teeth and I’m really struggling with the screaming / lack of sleep.
It’s making me dread bedtime, and I really need a bit of support with changing my mindset. I know this will pass, but I’m so on edge when she is asleep because I’m just wondering when I’ll next have to jump up. It’s making me too anxious to sleep properly.
Once I read something like “you’ve been tired before. You’ll get through tomorrow” and it really helped, but just wondered if anyone had any other words of wisdom along the same vein?
Just I know it’s her teeth and I know this isn’t forever so I want something reassuring to help me get through 3am.
Particularly interested in older women who’ve been there done that and can tell me it all gets better / is worth it 😂
