Hi everyone,

I need some words of hope that things will get better. I’m a first time mum and finding the newborn stage just so hard. My baby seems to struggle with wind no matter what we do, and also reflux. When did things like this improve?? I find all her digestive problems such hard work and I’m desperate for this phase to be over.

How old? The newborn stage is tough! Baby massage and cranial osteopathy can help. The digestive system matures between 4 and 6 months (which is why it’s recommended not to start weaning until 6 months).

She’s 10 weeks at the moment, 11 weeks on Thursday. Feel like I’m just counting down the days till her digestive system matures which is such a shame!

Milk allergy?
I'm my experience when a baby is suffering from excessive wind/reflux it's due to milk allergy

I kind of assumed it was normal newborn problems, and thought if it was an allergy her reactions would be more extreme?
