We are Sutton Park Primary, a primary school working closely with West Mercia Police, local authorities, the National Fostering Agency and other agencies to provide a free online webinar to parents about the dangers facing children and young people online. Whilst this started as a local event, it has generated much wider interest and we are now sharing it with parents and carers across the country as it is such an important issue affecting every family.
The seminar will provide parents with up-to-date information on online crimes affecting children and practical advice on protecting children from West Mercia’s lead detectives. Attendees will also hear from a forensic psychologist about the impact the online world has on a child’s brain. Parents and carers are invited to join the hour-long event either in-person or online, on Monday 27th November at 6:30pm.
