Single mum looking to co-house

Hi everyone

I'm a single mum to my eight month old daughter and looking to move out of where we currently live in Somerset. I've been leaning towards finding or forming a house share with another parent or even more of a cooperative lifestyle with multiple families (ideally in the South West/ South East). I have connections in Dorset and Brighton, as well as Somerset. And also quite fancy Devon or Cornwall... so I'm open to discussing areas. Just putting my feelers out there to see if anyone else is in a similar position and feels the same way

Hi there! Just saw your post and wanted to say that although I can't help right now I have found it very inspiring. I've been questioning things with my relationship for a while and whilst I don't expect we will separate imminently, it is heartening to think that something like this could be an option. I really hope you find one or more lovely families to co-house with!

I know I’m pretty much a year out to the date of your original post date but now find myself in very much so similar position. How did you get on? Are you still looking? I can’t believe that there isn’t a website available for single parents with children to explore the current sharing options available!! Xx
