nappy rash

my 9 month old has very red,sore area round anus.he has a patch on his penis which is red but dry and some less angry tiny spots in pubic region.went to doctor and tried canestan but no difference.been using drapolene.no difference and now bathing with salt water and applying calendula cream.any advice?

daktarin for thrush is good

Metanium - works for dd - very yellow and sticky - my dh once managed to get himself covered in it

if canestan didn't affect it at all it doesn't sound like thrush

I use morhulin. You can't get it everywhere but it is worth looking for. It is rather old fashioned, my mum used it on me and it's fab for cuts and grazes as well nappy rash.
