Cold/flu in early pregnancy

I've had the most horrible cold/flu bug. It's been two weeks now and I'm constantly coughing, headaches when I cough, weak and just exhausted. I'm 11 weeks pregnant and just terrified this is going to cause a miscarriage. It's an IVF pregnancy but it is our second but I'm a very anxious person. I jsur feel awful and no sign of getting any better. I saw the GP this week and she just said it's a nasty virus, not a chest infection and jsur will take a couple weeks to go away. She said it wouldn't harm baby but I'm jsur scared. We had a scan 10 days ago and all ok but have to wait another 2 weeks to our 12 week scan

Your body will protect baby. Do whatever you need to do, so rest/fluids/eat well.
I had flu at 30 something weeks, I felt so very ill, but baby was fine and the cough went. Eventually.

I had a terrible cold at about 10 weeks with my second. I had 2 mc between dc1 and dc2 so I was worried but all was fine.

You're exhausted because your body is doing its job helping you recover and protect baby.

Give your body the rest it's asking for 🥰
