Baby not rolling 5 months

My 5 month old girl isn't rolling and doesn't seem any closer to it. Has anyone had a bub that's been this late? Paediatrician doesn't seem to concerned but I am.

My wee girl will be 5 months next week. She showed no signs at all of being ready to roll. Yesterday she just rolled over in her crib. Is yours good at tummy time? Mine has been good at that for a while. I don't think it's concerning at all though either way. They're all so different.

Totally normal! my eldest didn't roll until 9 months she just wasn't interested, my youngest had been rolling since 3 months so totally opposite. She'll get there!

My DD didn't bother with rolling until she started crawling at 10 months. She loved being propped up to sit and would play with her toys while sitting - just not bothered about moving.

She's now 16 and still not very keen on moving but perfectly capable when encouraged!

No she's not good at tummy time, she has reflux so cries every time she goes on her stomach.

Even if she cries, are you making sure to still do tummy time?

It’s really important for rolling/crawling/sitting and muscle tone and skills. It doesn’t matter if she cries!

You just have to build up to it, starting with doing it for 1 minute and then doing it for longer as she gets older and stronger.

Yes our youngest was not even slightly interested in rolling until about 7 months, he could sit or lie down only. Then he suddenly started and at 14 months he is almost able to walk.
Our eldest was rolling at 4 months and walking at 11 months.
Babies focus on different things, they get there in their own time really. The heath visitor is just looking for outliers, they will follow up on anything that's late at the 1 year check though.
