Art/craft recommendations for toddler

I’m looking for some inspiration for art/craft supplies for my 18 month old this Christmas. I was thinking some crayons and paints but wondered whether anyone had recommendations of things that have worked well for toddlers. Thanks!

Crayons and paints are a good start. I used to buy simple sewing kits from The Works - the sort that have the holes ready punched. They also do kits where with a little bit of a glue you make a cute animal.

The paint sticks are really good for that age and keep the mess to a minimum x

Thanks so much. It sounds silly but I was so overwhelmed with what to get, too many choices. Some paint sticks, crayons and a craft apron will be going in his stocking!
