For me I wish I was less uptight about things but I just cannot help it!

I have a very short tolerance for things like screaming or bashing things too loudly etc 😂😂

I also get worked up when they don't eat their meals (more that I'm worried they haven't eaten enough to sustain them)

So I wish I was more relaxed as a parent. Luckily DP takes that role I guess

I wish I was more patient.

I have been known to blow my top and it apparently appears to everyone that I've gone from 1-100 in 2 seconds flat. What they don't realise is that I've been asking nicely and cajoling etc for 30 mins....

So now they better get it done yesterday, or else!

Yes I do. It's hard though.

This is me 😂
I am the least patient person, and I'm much more patient with my second (she's only 9m) than I am with my 3 year old

But I think that's because I'm still a first time parent to the 3 year old if that makes sense

It's all a learning journey I guess

Just the one thing , kicked her father out sooner instead of putting up with him for years and years
really not a good plan , thought was to do the “right” thing mum and dad together
the damage it did is horrendous

tiredofbeingadmired · 13/11/2023 17:26

No I don't. I'm not perfect but I'm trying incredibly hard to get it right for my DD. I literally could not do more.

I'm too patient. I'm a walkover and often do things for an easy life with bites me on the ass now my kids are 9 & 12

Flyhigher · 23/02/2024 16:49

Yes. Wish I'd done so much differently.
Wish I'd spent much more time with family.
Lots more family meals.
Family holidays.
Wish I'd worried less about her being out and about and with sex.

Absolutely!
