Advice needed

Hi

So I’m the primary caregiver of my 20 month old and 8 month old! My husband works long hours and most days but when my daughter sees him she’s over the moon and almost seems as she likes him rather than me. Although On a night she hugs me so tight and won’t sleep with anyone else!!

For a few months now she’s started saying mum dad and before she used to only call me mum but now she calls everyone mum. Or maybe it sounds like mum but she uses it even to men. But if you ask her who’s mum she points at me.

I don’t know it’s just bothering me: probably because everyone gloats at me when she does it

Awww for goodness sake stop worrying all kids do this and no they don't favour one over the other. We have 4 and one day they will run for daddy when he gets in from work the next it's me there cuddling 🙂

It's also pretty normal for them to start calling all men Dad for a short while
